Sunbites new ad encourages gifts to delivery drivers via VaynerMedia

Sunbites new campaign encourages Australians to give back to delivery drivers via VaynerMedia.

The announcement:

As restrictions ease across the country, Sunbites, The Good Fuel Co has launched their new #SunbitesSaysThanks social campaign via VaynerMedia that encourages Aussies to give back and thank their local delivery drivers for their tremendous efforts in fuelling Aussies during the pandemic.

The campaign was launched with popular TikTokers including Glenn Paul and Tom Clout saying thank you to their local delivery drivers for their tireless efforts during the pandemic – and encouraging others to do the same. Whether it’s offering them a snack or refreshment to refuel, singing words of inspiration to lift their spirits or telling a joke to put a smile on their face.

The TikTok challenge features rising Aussie post-hip-hop artist, Nardean, whose song ‘Feel Like Sunshine’ is the upbeat, infectious soundtrack behind the feel-good social challenge.

Sunbites also took to the streets with TV presenter, Ksenija Lukich, delivering good vibes and good fuel to food delivery drivers. The Sunbites Snack Truck parked at popular locations around Sydney where delivery drivers wait for orders to come in, surprising them with Sunbites wholegrain snacks to keep them fuelled and lift their spirits. Snippets of the activity were then shared on social media to further encourage Aussies to take part in the TikTok challenge.

Kat Miller, Sunbites Senior Brand Manager said “Sunbites is passionate about helping Aussies feel and do good. So as the country comes out of lockdown, we thought it was the right time to recognise and refuel those who have been working hard to keep us going over the past two years – and inspire Aussies to join us.

“Our delivery drivers have tirelessly delivered food and goods to their fellow Aussies and unlike many of us, they don’t have the option to work from home. #SunbitesSaysThanks is a fun and easy way for Aussies to make a small, but meaningful impact on the day of one of Australia’s many essential workers.”

Aussies can take part in the #SunbitesSaysThanks challenge by:

  1. Clicking “Join this hashtag” on the TikTok Hashtag Challenge homepage

  2. Filming a clip of themselves giving thanks to a delivery driver and tag @SunbitesAuin the caption

  3. Encouraging their friends to participate!
