Suncorp ends partnership with WPP as it announces new lead creative agency

Suncorp has announced a new lead creative agency for the company.

On Thursday, the insurer announced that, in an effort to evolve its marketing operating model and consolidated agency requirement, Publicis Groupe-owned Leo Burnett will lead its creative account from the start of 2025.

The news also means that Suncorp will end its 20-plus year partnership with WPP, and with Ogilvy Melbourne who had been supporting the business across AAMI, GIO, Vero and Hogarth.

“We are extremely proud of our long-standing partnership with Ogilvy Melbourne and the broader WPP team,” Suncorp’s executive general manager, brand and customer experience, Mim Haysom, said.
