Suncorp launches extension of ‘Money with Sunny’ expressing importance of sport

Suncorp Bank has launched an extension of its ‘Are you ready to money with Sunny?’ campaign featuring the Australian netball team and star of the campaign, Sunny.

The 30 second ad features Diamonds star Laura Geitz and Sunny as the pair play netball to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ Thrift Shop.

The #Teamgirls ad uses the same music as Suncorp’s ‘Money with Sunny’ campaign which launched two weeks ago.

“Is all this sport stuff really important?” Sunny asks as she struggles to throw and catch the ball.

“Playing sport builds confidence for life,” Geitz replies at the conclusion of the ad.

Publicis is Suncorp’s creative agency of record. Suncorp is the prime sponsor of Netball Australia as part of a 2016 deal that sees the Queensland based insurance company have naming rights until the 2022 season.

In March last year, Publicis Groupe was appointed to the brand’s creative and media account tasked with repositioning the Suncorp brand.
