News Ltd’s free weekly lifestyle mag –  Sunday Magazine –  will undergo a redesign to be unveiled on November 7.

The announcement:

Australia’s leading and highest circulating glossy magazine* sunday magazine is about to get even better, with a fresh new design, vibrant new pages and features, packed with the best shopping, beauty, fashion and food.

“Known for its glossy aspirational style and beautiful covers, sunday magazine delivers the credibility and high-end look of a monthly magazine without the cover price. Each week sunday magazine brings millions of readers the perfect blend of sophisticated yet accessible content, free inside Australia’s biggest selling Sunday newspapers – Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Herald Sun,” says Sandra Hook, chief executive office, News Magazines.“

“sunday magazine’s launch 13 years ago redefined newspaper magazine publishing and today it continues to lead the market with its unparalleled and influential reach delivering for both readers and advertisers,” says Hook.

With its unique celebrity access, the bold new sunday magazine is a dynamic, confident mix of A-list celebrities, intelligent features and all the shopping, beauty, fashion and food readers love. Bigger and bolder images invite readers to connect with the personalities and real-life stories like never before. The beauty and fashion is glamorous, inspirational and accessible.

sunday magazine editor Claire Bradley said the makeover ensured the magazine always over-delivered on the expectations of readers and advertisers.

“We’ve gathered the hottest talent in Australia including celebrity foodie Donna Hay, the outspoken, insightful and always entertaining Fifi Box and beauty industry luminary Suzanne Wangmann to name a few. Plus we’ve introduced new regular content including a new dedicated shopping section; our extended fashion, beauty and food features will inspire and delight readers and our funny and opinionated new line-up of columnists captures the most stimulating and relevant issues for our readers’,” says Claire Bradley, editor,.

“Sunday is the day when consumers have more time to relax and start planning their week ahead. sunday magazine’s relaxing yet inspiring format is proven to drive and directly influence sales results and its ability to reach more than 3 million readers* quickly and effectively at a time when they are starting to make purchasing decisions means sunday magazine is critical for retailer media schedules,” says Zara Curtis, commercial director, News Magazines.

“Advertisers are increasingly seeking new and innovative ways to reach our highly engaged audiences and we have a number of exciting packages that extend across our newspaper inserted magazine brands, leading monthly magazine brands and digital platforms to provide unprecedented value and innovative cross-platform ideas.”

“The combination of sunday magazine’s reach and our mega magazine brands including MasterChef Magazine, Super Food Ideas, Donna Hay magazine, Delicious and key fashion titles Vogue Australia and GQ, is the ultimate retail advantage for advertisers,” says Ms Curtis.

sunday magazine is distributed within Australia’s leading Sunday publications Sunday Telegraph in NSW and Sunday Herald Sun in Victoria, which reach more than 3 million readers every week**.

The refreshed sunday magazine will be launched on 7th November in the Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Herald Sun.
