Sunrise executive makes move to PR firm
Former Sunrise and Today Show executive, Jasmine Kostas, has joined PR consultancy firm, Media + Capital Partners as its senior account director.
Kostas previous held senior roles at Seven West Media, Nine Entertainment, Foxtel, and the ABC, including as managing editor of Sunrise and supervising producer of Today and Weekend Today.
Kostas was the supervising producer of the massive Fire Fight Australia concert in 2020, and has covered events such as the Queen’s death, and the Olympic Games.
“I’ve had an amazing 16 years in breakfast television, the last eight at Sunrise,” Kostas tells Mumbrella.
“I’ve chosen to say goodbye to brekkie TV at a time of my own choosing and on top of the ratings, a rare privilege in the ever-evolving world of television.
“With over 20,000 hours of live broadcasting under my belt, I am now eager to embark on a fresh professional endeavour. Joining the accomplished team at Media + Capital Partners marks an exciting new chapter in my career.
