Sunshine Coast launches campaign featuring Bindi Irwin ahead of Commonwealth Games
Visit Sunshine Coast has launched a new ad campaign ahead of the Commonwealth Games which is being held at the Gold Coast in April.
The 30-second ad features Australian TV personality and daughter of the late Steve Irwin, Bindi Irwin, feeding a crocodile at Australia Zoo.
Visit Sunshine Coast’s ad shows people looking at waterfalls, canoeing, swimming with whales, going to the beach and climbing mountains.
The ad aims to show “a place that has it all” including beach culture, nature and fresh local seafood.
The Commonwealth Games begins on April 4 and concludes on April 15.
I hate to be that person but it’s whales, not wales.

Hi Daily Fail,
Thank you for being that person and flagging the error. Swimming with Wales would be quite something, but we have amended to whales.
