Sustainability Victoria rewrites words to Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes to remind Victorians to bring reusable bags

Sustainability Victoria has re-written the words to ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ in a bid to help Victorians to remember to bring a reusable bag when shopping.

The social campaign features Australian comedian Sam Simmons as he embarks on a mission to help Victorians remember their “bag, wallet, keys and phone” when heading to the supermarket.

Simmons is seen going through the streets of Victoria swapping people’s plastic bags for reusable bags and congratulating those who remembered to bring a reusable bag.

Created by The Shannon Company, The ‘Better Bag Habbits’ campaign will also be running on the radio.

“Used carefully and off the back of a strong understanding of what’s driving behaviour, humour can be incredibly effective.

“We’ve seen that in recent times on Sustainability Victoria’s project with comedian Cal Wilson, ‘Love Food, Hate Waste’; with our campaign featuring Bev Killick’s edgy humour for the Continence Foundation of Australia; and now with comedian Sam Simmons again for Sustainability Victoria,” Ian Forsyth, managing partner at The Shannon Company, said in a statement.
