Sydney Comedy Festival unveils brand refresh ahead of 20th anniversary

Ahead of its 20th anniversary in 2025, the Sydney Comedy Festival has unveiled a new brand refresh.

Set to go ahead from April 21-May 18 next year, the annual event has unveiled a new look – with a splash of nostalgia – to mark the milestone.

The new work was brought to life by Sydney-based artist, Sindy Sinn, who worked on the famous Young Henry’s beer branding.

“It is a big milestone for the festival, delivering laugh after laugh to Sydney-siders for the past two decades,” Sydney Comedy Festival general manager, James Declase, said.

“We decided to do a throwback to our previous artwork, which used to incorporate a gorilla getting up to mischief all across the city. That combined with our love for our presenting partner Young Henry’s style and artwork, it only felt fitting that we give the task to the incredible Sindy Sinn, who has delivered a perfect meld of both of these.

“There is plenty more to come, so keep your eyes (banana) peeled for fresh new looks hitting the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2025.”

The 2025 festival, which will take over beloved venues like Enmore Theatre and Factory Theatre, has already locked in big names such as Melanie Bracewell, Nazeem Hussain, Becky Lucas and Luke Heggie.
