Sydney FC announces partnership with Rhino

Soccer team Sydney FC has announced a two year partnership with Rhino Football.

The announcement:

Sydney FC has signed a new two-year partnership with Rhino Football part of Rhino Sport & Leisure Australia to become an Official Community Support Partner of the Sky Blues.

Rhino specialises in creating new products that helps improve a player’s performance and will work closely with the Sydney FC community team to help develop the next generation of Sydney FC stars.

Kids attending Sydney FC’s popular School Holiday Clinics and Skills Training Programs, which are spread throughout New South Wales, will be the big winners benefitting from Rhino’s custom-made footballs and specialist equipment.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend believes the partnership will strengthen the Sky Blues already strong performance in this area.

“Community engagement is a cornerstone of Sydney FC and of our future development, and we are grateful to have a successful brand like Rhino come on board,” he said.

“Rhino are proven to be a reliable and committed sports brand at community level, and I think this partnership will enhance Sydney FC’s reputation as the leading sports club in delivering community programs in this country,” he said.

Sydney FC is in the process of developing closer and more long-term ties with its community than ever before, having invested in six regional development officers over the last three years – the only sporting club in Australia to do so.

The Sky Blues engage with thousands of kids each year through their clinics, schools and club programs and have developed a successful player pathway to the professional game through their association partnerships.

“Sydney FC are the leading community club in the country, and we are delighted to be partnering with them,” said Rhino Managing Director Craig Brown.

“Our investment seeks to improve the performances of every player involved in Sydney FC’s programs, and to make an impact on the overall success of football in Australia.”

Sydney FC’s Term 1 Skills Training Programs (already underway) and April School Holiday Clinics will be the first beneficiaries, with clinics at 19 venues between Wollongong and the Northern Beaches set to begin from April 6th.
