Sydney FC signs partnership with Smeg

Soccer club Sydney FC has signed a partnership with domestic appliance company Smeg.

The announcement:

Sydney FC are delighted to have signed an official club partnership with renowned and professional Italian domestic appliance manufacturer Smeg.

Sharing Sydney FC’s family values and penchant for style, Smeg will continue in the Sky Blues’ Italian footprint, with the club continuing to resonate with the European nation following Alessandro Del Piero’s signing in 2012.

The partnership brings to bear five years of international presence from Sydney FC, whilst continuing to deliver on the Sky Blues’ exceptional domestic reach following over four years of unprecedented success as Australia’s most successful football club.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend said he was excited to welcome Smeg to the Sky Blue Family.

“Smeg and Sydney FC both cherish a rich family history and I’m delighted that we’re able to partner together for the future of our game,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to celebrating more on field success with Smeg, whilst also continuing to engage with our Members, usher in our Centre of Excellence and new stadium and celebrate the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

“I’d like to welcome Smeg to Sydney FC as we look forward to more success in Season 2020/21 and beyond.”

Sydney FC and Smeg will be launching a new social media series featuring their products in the coming months, whilst they will also enjoy a range of benefits at Sydney FC’s home games.

Sydney FC are back in action in the Westfield W-League on Wednesday night at Cromer Park, while the A-League squad take on Melbourne Victory in an Easter Sunday Big Blue.
