Sydney Swans appoints realestate.com.au as its new major partner

AFL team Sydney Swans has appointed realestate.com.au as its new major partner and official property search partner in a three-year deal which will provide the property platform with access to a suite of digital assets.

It will also see an increased presence at all Sydney Swans home matches with at-ground branding and a new realestate.com.au hospitality lounge behind the scoreboard.

Realestate.com.au will also adorn the back of the Sydney Swans playing guernseys.

The new partnership builds on the existing relationship between the platform and the team, which has currently existed for four seasons and seen realestate.com.au take pride of place on the SCG scoreboard on match days and the ‘Front Yard Footy Club’ house on the ground offer guests a unique match-day experience.

Sydney Swans CEO Tom Harley said the club is excited to be strengthening its relationship with realestate.com.au.

“We’ve really enjoyed working with realestate.com.au over the past four seasons and we’re thrilled that they have increased their commitment to our team,” Harley said.

“Both organisations share a passion for creating unique experiences that Australians love – for us it’s on match days at our home at the SCG, while realestate.com.au is focused on helping connect Australians with their own home.”

REA Group CEO Owen Wilson said: “With 8.7 million people coming to realestate.com.au each month, we are reaching more Australians than ever before, particularly in New South Wales, where audience engagement continues to accelerate.

“After four successful seasons, we’re thrilled to take our partnership to the next level. NSW is an incredibly important market to our business and this major partnership creates enormous potential for us to drive loyalty and engagement with our customers and consumers.

“I know Tom and the Swans team value our partnership and we look forward to deepening our ties.”
