TAL partners with Royal Flying Doctor Service for ‘People Helping People’ campaign

Life insurer TAL has announced its new partnership with the Royal Flying Doctor Service by releasing a new campaign created by BMF.

The ad shows a rural community coming together in the early hours of the morning to create a runway for a Royal Flying Doctor Service plane.

Jen Speirs, creative director at BMF, said in a statement: “As you can imagine, in the remote areas that the RFDS operates, luxuries like well-lit, rock-free runways without kangaroos grazing along them, just don’t exist.

“So the only reason a plane can land safely and respond to an emergency, is because the people on the ground step up. Whatever time it is. And that’s the story we wanted to tell: people coming together, as Australians do, to get the job done.”

The campaign is launching this month and will be airing during the Australian Open across both television and social channels.
