Taurus brings on Ian Dose as senior consultant

PR agency Taurus has hired Ian Dose as senior consultant.

Dose joins after running his own company, Ian Dose Public Relations Counsel Pty Ltd. He has also previously held advisory roles for government ministers and was the general manager of corporate relations for the RTA – now known as the Roads and Maritime Services in NSW.

Dose began his career in journalism and led the communications campaign behind the bid for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.

The agency stated that Dose’s “long track record of success working with large corporate clients and government will help Taurus strengthen its position as a leading integrated marketing and public relations agency”.

Taurus CEO, Sharon Williams, said in a statement: “Ian has successfully run his own company. for a number of years and his client base extended across corporate heavyweights such as Qantas as well as major sporting bodies. In addition, Ian helped establish the acclaimed Black Dog Institute, an organisation that assists people with mood disorders such as depression and bipolar.”
