Telstra celebrates women who paved the way to success for the 25th year of its Business Women’s Awards

Telstra is celebrating 25 years of its Business Women’s Awards, with a campaign acknowledging the women who paved the way to success for other women.

The telco has released a film which depicts a Telstra Business Women’s Awards winner choosing to thank those who came before her and helped her get to where she is.

The film will air on TV, in cinemas and online. It will be supported by an OOH campaign which thanks those who have broken down barriers and stood up for women in business.

Telstra’s principal of media, sponsorship and awards, Genelle Sharples, said every step forward helps.

“Every step towards equality, no matter how big or small, adds up. To mark 25 years of the awards, we wanted to recognise those who are helping to bring equality closer.”

The Monkeys creative director, Stuart Alexander, added: “Over the 25 years the awards have been running, some amazing women have changed the way we do business. It felt right to thank them for the brilliant work they’ve done.”
