Telstra promotes AFL Live Pass with ad from The Monkeys
Telstra is promoting its AFL Live Pass with a campaign which focuses on what the service provides for fans.

Created by The Monkeys, “All This on That” focuses on the various features fans can access with the pass on mobile devices, including stats, behind the scenes interviews and analysis.
Telstra’s director of segment marketing Andy Bateman said: “It’s classic marks, match-winning goals, the euphoric wins and the devastating losses – All This, On That is about bringing everything we love about Aussie Rules to smartphones and tablets with the AFL Live Pass.”
The campaign follows on from Telstra’s campaign promoting the NRL Digital Pass, also created by The Monkeys.

I’m an AFL fan and recently signed up to AFL Live Pass (Curse living in Sydney) and this ad is woefully off the mark. The voice over talent, that piece of music, the editing, that terrible script; what the hell happened? Did any AFL and/or Australians actually work on this?? It felt like a tourist just tried to explain the game to me. Great product but shame about the ad.

I have “upgraded” to the 2014 app, i am rather disappointed as it is harder to navigate than last year – and looks terrible – not good AFL. Not Good.
