Ten bags some big names for its Amazing Race celebrity spin-off
Network 10 has unveiled the cast for its celebrity spin-off of The Amazing Race, managing to snare footy WAG Bec Judd, former Wiggle Emma Watkins and Olympian Jana Pittman.
The next star-studded instalment of the series will air soon, with the final couple standing winning $100,000 for the charity of their choice.
“They say travel is the ultimate test of any relationship, and for the celebrities joining us this season, it will be no ordinary challenge,” 10 said in a statement.
Model, influencer and presenter Jud will team up with her sister Kate, Pittman with her son Cornelis, and Watkins with her sister Hayley.
Ten has also bagged former Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies and his reality star wife Jackie, who rose to fame on The Real Housewives of Melbourne, comedian Peter Rowsthorn – Brett from Kath and Kim – and his daughter Frankie, and Love Island larrikin Harry Jowsey and his mate Teddy Biriggs.
The show is hosted by footballer turned TV personality Beau Ryan.
The Amazing Race ran for three seasons on Seven before being rested in 2014. Ten picked it up four years later.
Last year’s launch episode was watched by 451,000 metro viewers.
