Ten enjoys best Thursday result for the year thanks to Masterchef, Glee and 7PM Project
It was another record night for Ten, clocking its best Thursday overnight audience in the year so far, with The 7PM Project and Glee attracting record highs.
In terms of overall free-to-air viewing, Nine led the night with a 25.3 per cent share, followed by Ten with 23.2 per cent and then Seven third with 21.7 per cent.
The 7PM Project, which last night aired from 7:02pm to 7:33pm, saw 1.11m people tune in according to overnight data OzTam data in the main metro markets.
The was the highest result for the show this year, bettering its previous record of 1.01m on Monday. Last night, the show also won its time slot against Seven’s Home and Away and a repeat of Nine’s Two and a Half Men.
Glee had an equally strong night with 1.4m average viewers – its highest ever result.
Ten’s Masterchef again led in overall ratings and was number one in all the main metro markets.
In the key demographics of 16-39s, 18-49s and 24-54s, Masterchef was number one, followed by Glee and then The 7PM Project.
