Ten releases new promo for Studio 10

Network Ten has released its most detailed promotion yet for its new mid morning show Studio 10.
The teaser for Ten’s newest morning show focusses on the program’s panel of Ita Buttrose, Joe Hildebrand, Jessica Rowe and Sarah Harris. It also features producers Rob McKnight and Adam Boland.
The video emphasises the social media aspect of the show.
Boland – the former EP of Seven’s Sunrise and The Morning Show – has been tasked with creating a whole morning lineup for Ten.
The breakfast show will be called Wake Up and broadcast from Manly beach.
The network is under intense pressure for the morning schedule to attract viewers. Previous effort Breakfast was dropped at the end of last year and the network is struggling for share in prime time. Last night its metro free to air audience share was less than 10 per cent.
The video is not the first released by the Wake Up and Studio 10 team. Earlier this month McKnight fronted a video featuring the team’s first day at work.

I do love Ita though. I wish she had been teamed up with Bert. Now that would have been a defining moment. The return of the golden years of TV.

Agree with earlier comment. A little worried about back room people giving themselves spotlight. After all that’s all they dreamed about as youngsters. But they are still back room people and judging by what I have just seen that’s not about to change. JO is just a little too smart. He won’t be bulletproof.

@cr: This promo sets itself up to be knocked. Everyone comes across as a raving happy pill addict. The show will obviously be yet enough rip off of The View but the personality mix seems way out of kilter. You’re right to say we should give it a chance. Lots of us will but if we’re going to be slapped in the Corn Flakes with all this rah-rah and Ita-worship, maybe one chance is all it will get.
