Ten has released the trailer for new Steven Spielberg sci-fi series Terra Nova, shot in Australia.
The 13-part series will premiere in 2011 but an air date is yet to be announced.
The series was amongst a raft of new programming announced by the network last month.
Jurassic Park meets Lost meets Avatar meets Stargate meets the roar from the Nutri Grain ad = not a hit. See you on the secondary channels.

Chances are it’s going to do incredibly well.
There is definitely room for science fiction on Australian commercial television, especially when the aesthetic and investment is of this quality.
They are running out of ratings weeks to put a new series on in 2011. Makes me think it will be on a secondary channel or they will launch in non-ratings time just in case it bombs (AKA Camelot). I really hope it’s better than the talk-fest of Falling Skies (Spielberg on Fox 8) or the series with practically the same concept that was on Foxtel earlier this year that’s name started with C and I have already forgotten……
