Ten reveals full cast of revived Dancing With The Stars
Ten has revealed the celebrity cast for its upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars, which kicks off on Monday 18 February.
The line-up of six women and five men includes former host of The Biggest Loser, Michelle Bridges, panellist on Ten’s The Living Room, Miguel Maestre, co-host of Studio 10, Denise Scott, and former journalist and current tabloid fodder, Cassandra Thorburn.
Thorburn has been making headlines of late for her high-profile split from Karl Stefanovic, who has since been let go from his plum gig of hosting the Today Show on Nine.
In addition, Jimmy Rees, AKA Jimmy Giggle, is joining the cast. Rees appears on the popular ABC children’s program Giggle and Hoot.
Author, commentator and blogger Constance Hall has also joined this year’s season, alongside model and actress Olympia Vallance, ironman and model (and son of Grant Kenny and former Olympian Lisa Curry), Jett Kenny.
Rounding out the cast is Curtly Ambrose, former West Indies cricketer, and Courtney Act, who first attracted mainstream media attention on Australian Idol back in 2003. Since then, Act has appeared on, and won, season 21 of the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother, and was in season six of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The series will be hosted by Grant Denyer and Amanda Keller.
The show originally ran on Seven from 2004, with 15 seasons squeezed in until it was ultimately axed in 2016.
So it’s who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, Courtney, Michelle, Denise and Samuel.
