Ten’s 7PM Project pushes past Seven’s prime time shows in Monday ratings
As Ten’s Masterchef goes from strength to strength, The 7PM Project last night moved ahead of Seven’s prime time shows The Zoo and Find My Family.
Masterchef’s commanding lead of almost 1.7m average viewers, was well ahead of Nine’s big Monday show The Big Bang which had 1.2m, according to preliminary overnight OzTam data in the main metro markets.
But arguably the bigger surprise of the night was how well Ten’s 7PM Project rated, with 966,000 average viewers – its best result in the year to date.
This was ahead of Seven’s The Zoo, albeit in the time slot half an hour later at 7:30pm, with 951,000 and Find My Family at 8pm with 957,000.
Not Surprised by the stats for the 7pm Project at all.
Tuned in one night when Hamish and Andy were on and got hooked, plenty of laughs, great dynamics and the changing guest presenters at the end of the panel also bring plenty to the table.
Much better than any of the other crap served up at 7pm
