The launch date and timeslots for Wake Up, Studio 10 and the new Early News and Morning News will be announced soon.

Matt Doran is an award-winning Senior Reporter and News Presenter with Network Ten. He is a regular host of TEN Late News and a regular guest on The Project. Earlier this year, Matt joined TEN’s innovative new crime series Wanted.

Network Ten Head of News and Current Affairs, Anthony Flannery, said the launch of Early News and Morning News will make TEN the only commercial free-to-air television network that provides a comprehensive breakfast-to-bedtime News service.

“Our new breakfast and morning television block will be book-ended by dedicated News programs providing the latest in news, sport and weather from around Australia and overseas – giving Australians all the information they need as they start their busy days,” he said.

“Matt is an outstanding, award-winning journalist and presenter who is passionate about keeping Australia informed. Scott is one of the best new sport presenters and journalists in the country – he lives and breathes sport,” Mr Flannery said.

“Magdalena is a self-confessed weather nerd, an excellent presenter and a meteorologist who is committed to giving Australia the most accurate forecasts on television.”

Mr Flannery said that in addition to presenting Early News and Morning News, Matt, Magdalena and Scott will cover the big stories as they happen for Wake Up and Studio 10.

“They will be across the news that breaks overnight and the news that breaks during the morning,” he said.
