Teva celebrate pride range with non-profit Black Rainbow

Teva has celebrated the launch of their 2022 pride range by joining forces with LGBTIQA+SB First Nations non-profit Black Rainbow to create the Outdoor Fund.

The announcement:

Functional footwear icons, Teva, are celebrating their new 2022 Pride Sandals Range, by proudly joining forces with non-profit Black Rainbow.

A donation of $5,000 will be made to form a new & unique ‘Outdoor Fund’, with aims to directly invest in the LGBTIQA+SB Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community.

THE OUTDOOR FUND

Celebrating the freedom to explore the outdoors & aiming to foster pioneering spirit, The Outdoor Fund will see a direct investment in 3 Indigenous LGBTIQA+SB individuals who would benefit from support to excel in an outdoor-related
field.

Open to indigenous LGBTIQA+SB individuals excelling in sport along with outdoor teachers or those involved in environmental regeneration, the Outdoor Fund will be open in early June 2022 to eligible applicants.

“We are really excited to be working with Teva and tapping into an area of adventure and activity we feel opens up opportunity for members of our community. We hope that through this partnership it encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mob of the rainbow community to embrace their adventurous spirit and get on out there and enjoy the great outdoors across our many nations” Says Dameyon Bonson, founder of Black Rainbow.

TEVA PRIDE SANDALS

Featuring 3 new styles for all genders, Teva’s new rainbowhued capsule of vibrant sandals makes a colourful statement on equality and diversity. Priced at $99.95 – $109.95, the range will available for purchase on au.teva.com or at specialty retailers from 3rd February 2022.
