The Bachelor pulls 739,000 viewers for second episode

Ten’s The Bachelor has topped the ratings leader board as the most-watched entertainment program with 739,000 metro viewers tuning in.

According to OzTAM’s preliminary overnight metro ratings, The Bachelor was also the most-watched program across key advertising demographics 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

The second episode of tMatty J’s quest for love beat Seven’s Make You Laugh Out Loud which had 498,000 metro viewers tuning in.

Seven News at 6pm was the most-watched program for the evening overall with 1.019m metro viewers, beating Nine News’ 908,000.

Nine won Thursday night in television with a 21.3% overall audience share ahead of Seven’s 17.4% and Ten’s 15.1% share.

Meanwhile, ABC grabbed a 10.6% share beating SBS’ 4.8%.
