The Block wins entertainment and all key demos as Nine takes Monday

Nine’s The Block was the #1 entertainment program on Monday night, as the network also celebrated an overall network share win.

The Block brought in a metro audience of 995,000, while also winning all three key advertising demos, and just pipping Nine News in metro audience viewing.

Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? was next in entertainment pulling in a metro audience of 643,000, followed by Seven’s SAS Australia which had 597,000 metro viewers tune in.

Home And Away on Seven brought in 579,000 metro viewers, followed by Ten’s The Masked Singer with 575,000 metro viewers, while the big reveal at the end of the episode saw a metro audience of 700,000 tune in.

An episode of Media Watch on ABC pulled in 560,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven’s The Chase Australia which has a metro audience of 531,000.

The #1 program on Monday was Seven News, which had an average of 1.015 million metro viewers, ahead of Seven News at 6.30 with 999,000, and Nine News with 988,000 metro viewers.

As previously mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 30.9% over Seven’s 24%, while Ten had a 19.6% network share, and ABC had 18%.

Nine also won primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel for Monday was Ten Bold with a share of 3.3%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 27 September, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear and BVOD television, with 1.812 million viewers including 39,000 on BVOD.

The Block was #1 entertainment program with 1.475 million viewers, including a BVOD audience of 156,000 views, an uplift of 21%.

The program with the biggest uplift however was an episode of Seven’s SAS Australia which had a 35% uplift on overnight figures and had a total of 1.162 million viewers overall and a BVOD audience of 166,000.
