The Block wins entertainment as Nine takes Monday

Nine’s The Block was the #1 entertainment program on Monday night, as the network also celebrated an overall network share win.

The Block brought in a metro audience of 812,000, while also winning key advertising demo 25-54.

Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? was next in entertainment pulling in a metro audience of 731,000, while also winning key advertising demos, 16-39 and 18-49.

Nine’s A Current Affair brought in 729,000 metro viewers, followed by Ten’s The Masked Singer’s reveal episode which saw a metro audience of 703,000 tune in.

Seven’s Home And Away brought in 627,000 metro viewers, while Seven’s SAS Australia pulled in 620,000 metro viewers. Seven’s The Chase Australia was next in entertainment with 593,000 metro viewers.

The #1 program on Monday was Seven News, which had an average of 1.162 million metro viewers, ahead of Seven News at 6.30 with 1.127 million, and Nine News with 1.032 million metro viewers.

As previously mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 27.6% over Seven’s 25.5%, while Ten had a 22% network share, and ABC had 17.5%.

Nine also won primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel for Monday was Ten Bold with a share of 3.9%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 13 September, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear and BVOD television, with 1.918 million viewers including 39,000 on BVOD.

The Block was #1 entertainment program with 1.459 million viewers, including a BVOD audience of 197,000 views, an uplift of 22%.

The program with the biggest uplift however was an episode of Seven’s Australian Gangster which had a 46% uplift on overnight figures and had a total of 743,000 viewers overall.
