The Block wins entertainment while Seven wins Tuesday
Nine’s The Block was the #1 entertainment program on Tuesday night, however it was Seven who celebrated an overall network share win.
The Block brought in a metro audience of 849,000, while also winning all key advertising demos.

SAS Australia was next in entertainment pulling in a metro audience of 631,000, while Seven’s Home And Away had 587,000 metro viewers.
Ten’s The Dog House Australia brought in 480,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven’s The Chase Australia which had a metro audience of 476,000.
Nine’s Hot Seat pulled in 400,000 metro viewers, followed by an episode of ABC’s The Greek Island’s with Julia Bradbury that had a metro audience of 339,000.
The #1 program on Tuesday was Seven News at 6:30, which had an average of 952,000 metro viewers, ahead of Seven News with 935,000 and Nine News with 884,000 metro viewers.
As previously mentioned, Seven won the night, taking an overall network share of 29.5%, just pipping Nine’s 27.7%, while Ten had a 19.8% network share, and ABC had 15.1%.
Seven also just pipped Nine, winning primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel for Tuesday was 10 Bold with a share of 4.4%.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 5 October, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear television, with 1.659 million viewers, and 36,000 on BVOD.
The Block was #1 entertainment program with 1.448 million viewers, including a BVOD audience of 195,000 views, an uplift of 22%, surpassing Nine News and Nine News at 6:30.
The program with the biggest uplift was Tuesday’s episode of Seven’s SAS Australia which had a 33%.
