The Chase Australia tops entertainment but Nine wins the night

The Chase Australia on Seven topped entertainment on Tuesday night, but it was Nine Network that grabbed another overall share win.

The game show aired to 598,000 metro viewers, followed by Home and Away, also on Seven, with 501,000 metro viewers.

MasterChef Australia on Ten secured 448,000 metro viewers, followed by Parental Guidance with 411,000 metro viewers.

However, the #1 metro program of the night was Seven News with 962,000 metro viewers, which also topped the key advertising demos of the 18-49s and 25-54s.

As mentioned, Nine won the night with a 34.8% overall share and the most primary channel share with 18.3%.

9Gem maintained a double-digit (12.4%) multichannel share thanks to the Ashes series. The lunch session on day five of the series managed to grab 302,000 metro viewers.

Seven News was the #1 program in the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 13 June, with a Total TV audience of 1.607 million, 3% uplift and a national BVOD audience of 52,000.

Parental Guidance on Nine last week had the biggest uplift of 35%, with a Total TV audience of 768,000 and 127,000 on BVOD.
