The Chase Australia wins entertainment as Seven takes Tuesday

The Chase Australia on Seven topped entertainment on Tuesday, as the network celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to a metro audience of 611,000 metro viewers, followed by MasterChef on Ten which brought in a metro audience of 542,000. 

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 31 May, Sunday’s Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.640 million viewers, including 42,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%. The biggest uplift of the week was an episode of The Rookie on Seven with an uplift of 85% and aired to a total audience of 412,000.

Looking at Tuesday’s ratings, and next in entertainment was Home and Away on Seven which aired to an average metro audience of 506,000 viewers, followed by Hot Seat on Nine with 459,000 metro viewers.

Celebrity Apprentice brought in a metro audience of 402,000, while Big Brother on Seven saw an average of 369,000 metro viewers tune in.

Meanwhile, Seven News was the #1 metro program on Tuesday with 1.050 million metro viewers followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 1.003 million metro viewers. Nine News had 900,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News at 6:30 which had an average of 852,000 metro viewers. ABC News brought in 627,000.

Seven won the night, taking an overall network share of 27.8% over Nine’s 26.8%, while Ten took a 20.6% share and the ABC had 15.1%.

Seven also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was 7TWO with a share of 4.1%.
