The Chase takes the entertainment crown; Nine wins Monday
The Chase Australia on Seven topped entertainment on Monday, however, it was Nine that celebrated an overall network share win.
The program aired to a metro audience of 432,000, however, it was Nine News at 6:30 that won key advertising demos, 16-39, and 19-49s, while Seven News topped demos, 25-54.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for Monday 28 November, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.511 million viewers, including 37,000 on BVOD, and an uplift of 3%. The biggest uplift of the week was an episode of Love Island Australia on Nine with an uplift of 847%, viewed by a total audience of 360,000, and a BVOD audience of 272,000.
Looking back at Monday’s overnights, Media Watch on ABC aired to an average metro audience of 426,000, followed by Border Security: The Front Line on Seven was next pulling in a metro audience of 424,000.
Nine’s Snackmasters aired to an average of 367,000, while an episode of Seven’s Motorway Patrol aired to 352,000 metro viewers.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup: ENG vs SEN football game aired to a metro audience of 206,000.
Meanwhile, Seven News won overall TV viewing on Monday night with 831,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 807,000 metro viewers, while Nine News at 6:30 had 733,000 metro viewers. Nine News brought in 767,000, ABC News had a metro audience of 559,000, and A Current Affair pulled in 594,000 metro views.
As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 30.6% over Seven’s 26.6%, while the ABC had a share of 18.1%, and Ten had a share of 15.8%.
Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Monday was 9Gem with a share of 5.2%
