The Chase tops entertainment as Gogglebox tops key demos
Seven’s The Chase Australia topped entertainment last night, however, Ten’s Gogglebox topped all three key demographics (16 to 39, 18 to 49 and 25 to 54).
Seven also had the largest network share.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 31 March, Seven News led with 1.403 million total TV viewers, including 32,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 3%. The program with the highest uplift was a late showing of Seven’s Home and Away with an uplift of 32%, with 795,000 total TV viewers and 142,000 on BVOD.
Back to last night, in entertainment, Seven’s The Chase Australia had 561,000 metro viewers, followed by Ten’s Gogglebox with 533,000 metro viewers. Seven’s Home and Away had 445,000 metro viewers.
For overall programming, Seven News had the largest metro viewership with 978,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 893,000 metro viewers. Next was Nine News with 855,000 metro viewers, then Nine News 6:30 with 820,000 metro viewers. ABC News was next with 614,000 metro viewers, then Nine’s A Current Affair with 611,000 metro viewers. ABC’s 7.30 had 460,000 metro viewers.
As mentioned, Seven had the highest network share with 31.9%, followed by Nine with 25.0%. Ten was next with 18.6%.
