Bringing together speakers from across the globe, the opening day will focus on the most pertinent industry issues and trends, covering areas such sustainability, the future of creative teams, changing rules of brand engagement and technological game changers.

The APG Battle of Big Thinking returns for the third time, celebrating big thinking that leads to big ideas across the topic areas of Advertising/Marketing/Media, Business, Government, Storytelling and Social/Community.

This year, the festival is introducing a Master Class stream which will provide attendees the opportunity to get to the heart of the most innovative thinking in creative communications across all disciplines relevant to their day to day work. The workshops will be hands-on sessions hosted by experts such as Planning Directors Kevin Brown and Nick Kendall from BBH and David Plante, Senior Marketing Manager for Target US.

The final event will be the industry’s creative awards night, the AWARD Awards.

“Circus is an opportunity to glean insights on how creativity transforms businesses and contributes to top line growth. Circus will help you stay on top of emerging marketing trends and technologies, said Margaret Zabel, CEO of The Communications Council. “It is also a chance to come together to network and do business with clients and industry leaders.”

“From the inception of Circus our aspiration has always been to create a truly world-class event for Australia, going above and beyond the usual industry conferences. We are really excited about the calibre of speakers we have managed to secure this year. It will definitely be an event not to be missed” says Sudeep Gohil – Communications Council Board Member Representative for Circus.

Other speakers will be announced in the coming months.
