The Idea Shed makes three senior hires including Adrian Moore as head of digital

Independent creative agency The Idea Shed has announced three senior hires, including Adrian Moore as head of digital.

Moore joins from McCann Sydney where he spent the last 18 months as social media director. He has previously worked in social media and digital marketing for Tabcorp and OMD.

Adrian Moore, Rita Sterne and Dan Adams have taken senior roles at The Idea Shed

Moore’s new role will see him integrate digital and new technology into the agency’s offering across retail, experiential and integrated campaigns.

Also joining The Idea Shed are Rita Sterne and Dan Adams as senior art director and senior account director, respectively.

Sterne has spent the last three years working with her husband on their design studio Sterne Creative, where she undertook the role of creative partner. Prior to that she was an art director at BMF in Sydney for seven years.

Adams was previously a senior account director at Traffik Group, where he worked on the Diageo account. Prior to his three years at Traffik, Adams worked at RPM Ltd in London, where he held multiple account and project manager roles for a variety of clients including Royal Caribbean, Heineken, and Bulmers.

Co-founder and partner of The Idea Shed, Richie Strettell, said Moore, Sterne and Adams would enable the agency to service the evolving needs of its clients.

“This round of senior hires represents the agency continuing to invest in our people and will allow us to better service the needs of our ever-evolving client base,” Strettell said.

“As clients optimise their marketing mix and investment continues to shift towards online platforms, we felt it was essential to upweight our specialist digital expertise, bringing Adrian on board is hugely exciting and we look forward to integrating him across our client portfolio.

“Continuing pressure in the retail environment has and will continue to push brands to create meaningful connections with consumers outside of traditional retail. Dan’s background of delivering world class brand experiences is a huge asset to the business as we look to continually evolve to meet our clients ‘needs.

“Rita’s brings to us a wealth of experience as a senior creative in many established agencies and is an ideal complement to our existing team,” he concluded.

At the start of this year, The Idea Shed won the creative accounts for Rekorderlig Cider and Wagyu beef brand Westholme.
