The Media Store appoints Aliya Hasan as head of strategy

Aliya Hasan has been appointed as head of strategy at independent agency The Media Store where she will work alongside Monia Montefusco, head of planning and previously head of strategy also. 

Hasan joins The Media Store from a strategy consulting role at Havas Melbourne.

Hasan has also previously worked at House of Brand Group as managing director, Vizeum as national head of strategy and UM as strategy director. Her experience as a strategist totals more than 15 years.

Hasan has worked with clients including the AFL, Asahi Beverages, and BMW.

On her appointment, Hasan said: “It’s evident that the role of media is becoming increasingly important and truly integrated solutions that genuinely motivate and drive demand are going to have to become the norm rather than the exception. To be part of a team that is consistently delivering to this model and the opportunity to evolve our product was, quite frankly, irresistible.”
