The Monkeys Melbourne land Crownbet as second client

Accenture’s The Monkeys is set to open its doors in Melbourne with its second client Crownbet, Mumbrella understands.

The news comes a day after the agency announced its appointment to the Holden SUV creative account, its first client win in Melbourne.

Crownbet marks the second win since the agency was bought by global professional services company Accenture in May, a deal which was later revealed to be worth $63m.

Crownbet has been using in-house capabilities as well as agencies appointed on a project-by-project basis.

Y&R Melbourne was the agency responsible for creating Beteasy’s rebrand to Crownbet in 2015.

Last year, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne launched Crownbet’s Draftstar, the joint venture between Fox Sports and CrownBet.

Mumbrella understands AnalogFolk will remain on Crownbet’s roster and continue working with the brand.

Crownbet and The Monkeys declined to comment.

The Monkeys’ Sydney clients include: Meat and Livestock Australia, Telstra, Bingle, IGA, Blackmores, HCF, IGA and Qantas.
