Right at the bottom you have reported that “Instead Villani referred on stage a couple of times to the $12bn parent company’s financial strength. You don‘t have to read too far between the lines to see that as a willingness to continue to chase big sports rights. ”
I think that puts some of TEN’s … oops … Paramount’s sport decisions. especially the recent $4.5b over seven years rights for the AFL, into perspective given “the 12bn parent company’s financial strength”.
