Unmade Index: Strong Tuesday for most of the broadcasters

Australia’s locally listed media and marketing stocks enjoyed a broad based bounce in market sentiment on Tuesday.

Almost all of the Unmade Index stocks ticked upwards.

Amongst the broadcasters, Southern Cross Austereo was up by 4.1%, ARN Media was up by 1%, Seven West Media was up by 3.7% and Nine was flat.

The only broadcaster to fall was Sports Entertainment Group, owner of SEN Radio, which lost 7.4%.

Ooh Media was also slightly into negative territory, losing 0.7%.

The Unmade Index closed on 473.4 points, up by 0.13%. Meanwhile, the wider ASX All Ordinaries was up by 0.7% for the day.
