The Movember Foundation honours those with pash rash in final fundraising push

The Movember Foundation is taking the last week of the month to thank the significant others of those participating in the moustache-growing fundraiser, by launching a product to help soothe ‘pash rash’.

The cream, aptly called ‘Movember Rain’, has been created by boutique New Zealand skincare brand, Triumph & Disaster, and is being sold through Movember’s social media channels for $80. All proceeds will go to the Movember foundation.

Accompanying the product is an ad starring three models showing off their pash rashes.

The song featured in the ad is an original track, ‘On Your Mouth’, by Melbourne band, The Marion Cranes.

Movember’s marketing director, Jason Olive, said the campaign sought to acknowledge the supporter base beyond those who can grow a mo.

“Movember’s supporter base is much wider than those who can grow a Mo, and we wanted to acknowledge anyone who has played a role in this year’s campaign,” Olive said.

“In a world of filtering and perfection, our ‘Movember Rain’ campaign celebrates ‘pash rash’ in all its dry, itchy, glory. Whether sporting a Mo or a bit of ‘pash rash’, Movember’s supporters all have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health.”

The ‘Pash Rash’ campaign will run in tandem with Movember’s core ‘Whatever You Grow Will Save a Bro’ campaign. It has rolled out in Australia, the UK, the USA, and Canada, across social media, outdoor, and commercial radio.

The ‘Whatever You Grow Will Save a Bro’ campaign launched in October, celebrating moustaches of all shapes and sizes that grow during the month of November.
