The Park Australia makes new appointments and client wins

In celebrating its two-year anniversary, The Park Australia has announced new appointments and recent client wins.

The announcement:

The Park is celebrating its two year anniversary in Australia and is pleased to announce a number of recent client wins and new appointments to the team. The brand experience agency launched locally in February 2021. Its London office was formed in 2018 and has been going from strength to strength ever since.

Since its launch, The Park Australia works with an impressive roster of clients including Kingfisher Mobile Australia, Mad Mex, Mastercard, Pinterest, Starkey Australia and Tabcorp.

In line with the agency expansion, The Park has announced three new additions to the team. Belle Sparavec joins as senior account director bringing over 20 years of experience running large scale activations and live events locally and internationally (across Asia, Europe and the United States). She has worked with renowned brands such as Airbnb, Cartier, Marina Bay Sands Luxury Retail Mal, McDonalds, Panasonic, Tourism Australia and Volkswagen.

Also, joining the team is Susanna Truasheim as an event producer, who has experience running high-impact, end-to-end events across Australia and the Asia Pacific within the technology, government, start-up and member association sectors. Skilled at developing key stakeholder relationships, creating memorable digital campaigns, delivering end-to-end events, utilising innovative thinking, and driving results.

Yashi Wadiwala (based in Melbourne) has come on board as an account coordinator after recently completing her masters in business at Monash University. She interned at The Park last year and has proved to be invaluable.

The Australian operations are led by local managing director, Erika Morton Allen. She has spent her career working with the world’s largest communications agencies – M&C Saatchi Group and Clemenger Group and on some of the most impactful brands including Audi, Commonwealth Bank, Optus, Reebok, Smeg and Tabcorp.

Erika Morton Allen, managing director said: “We live by our values – diversity makes the world better, there is always a way and simplicity is clarity. And our talented new hires embrace these values passionately. We are also thrilled that brands are embracing brand experiences again and being able to connect with their target audiences through live activations and events.”

Jack Lamacraft, co-founder and global managing director said: “It’s great to have reached the two year milestone and be in such good health, the future it looking really positive for Erika and the team in Sydney and this is testament to the hard graft she’s put in and the brilliant relationships she’s nurtured. Our model is different to a lot of other agencies with a lean and agile team and free range approach to creativity and it seems to be working well. We’re excited to see what the next two years hold in store”.

Erika also has some thoughts on why The Park has succeeded.

“I attribute our growth to these core values that I’ve built through my career.

”Relationships are everything. Savour them, nurture them, enjoy them and then work doesn’t seem like work at all. Our portfolio of impressive clients is a result of incredible relationships past and present and hard work.

“I say this many times, but I will always stand by this, you’re only as good as the team around you. And you want diversity in opinion and experiences.

“Sometimes it’s just not the right fit. And that’s ok. Not all clients, employees or supplier partners are going to align and life is too short to dwell on it. Move on and work with people that get your vibe. If you can’t create a true partnership, you can’t do effective work. Make the call.”

The Park was founded in London in 2018 by Jack Lamacraft, Lloyd Major and Will Worsdell. The founders have extensive Australian agency experience. Lamacraft was formerly co-founder and general manager of M&C Saatchi sport & entertainment, a role he held for over eight years.

Worsdell was head of strategy at MediaCom during one of the most awarded periods in the agency’s history. Major was formerly Pproduction director at Host Havas and One Green Bean leading campaigns for LEGO, Ikea and Commonwealth Bank.

The Park works with brands such as Amazon Prime Video, NBC Universal, Westin Hotels and ASICS. Their work spans live event production, digital experiences, social media campaigns, experience design and content creation.
