The PR Group secures US tech brand Podium as part of international client roster expansion

Technology communications consultancy the PR Group has four new client onboard as the company continues its growth across the business and consumer markets in the Asia-Pacific region.

Business customer interaction management platform Podium has partnered with the PR Group to support its Australian market entry. The company has opened a Melbourne office – the first outside the USA – to support its growth in the market.

Podium Australia country manager, Dave Scheine said: “When seeking a communications partner we needed a technology specialist with the reach and scale of a large business, but the empathy and DNA of an SME.

After a competitive pitch process, global medical cannabis company Clever Leaves has appointed the PR Group as their agency of record in the Australian market.

The partnership comes after Clever Leaves reached a commercial partnership in June with pharmaceutical manufacturing company IDT Australia Limited to import CAGP-certified cannabis flower from its Portugal facility, alongside growing awareness and demand for medicinal cannabis in the Australian market.

Clever Leaves, a multinational operator and licensed producer of pharmaceutical-grade cannabinoids with a focus on ecologically sustainable, large-scale cultivation and processing as the cornerstones of its global business with operations and investments in Colombia, Germany, Portugal, the United States and Canada.

The PR Group has also signed a client deal with human-centred independent marketing cloud and analytics provider Acoustic to become its agency of record in the Asia-Pacific region. The company is rapidly scaling up its APAC team to deliver strong demand for cutting-edge martech in Asia-Pacific markets.
