The Projects to launch influencers scheme for Samsung

Experiential and influencer agency The Projects is to launch a campaign for Samsung which will see influencers provided with the latest products, along with a concierge who can help with setup.

The win for The Projects comes on the back of a similar project for Samsung Mobile in the US, which saw them a concierge made available to influencers on a 24-7 basis. The Projects also has an office in Los Angeles.

The scheme will feature influencers from business, culture and athletics.

The Projects previously worked on the launch of the Samsung Note II in Australia.

The 12 month assignment will see The Projects develop an influence and engagement strategy for Samsung across all consumer products.

Si Philby, partner in The Projects, said: “Samsung are probably the most exciting business in the world to be working with right now. Their product range is outstanding, they are market leaders in so many sectors and best of all they are prepared to take risks to do new things.”

Arno Lenior, marketing director at Samsung Australia said: “We were really impressed with the work we saw from The Projects in the United States and immediately knew they were the right agency for what we want to achieve for Samsung in Australia.”

The Projects is also working with Fairfax Media, including events to mark the relaunch of its newspaper mastheads as compacts, and Frucor locally and Topshop and Subway in the US.
