The steaks are high! MasterChef tops entertainment; Nine takes Tuesday

Ten’s MasterChef has taken out the top spot for entertainment on Tuesday night, however, it was Nine that celebrated an overall network share win.

The program brought in 580,000 metro viewers, while also taking the top spot in key advertising demos, 16-39s.

Next in entertainment, was The Chase Australia on Seven, which brought in 557,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven’s Home and Away with 464,000 metro viewers.

The latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 21 June Seven News topped the list with 1.586 million total TV viewers, including 39,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 3%. The program with the highest uplift was Thursday’s episode of Seven’s The Rookie, with an uplift of 75%, viewed by a total of 416,000 national viewers.

The Celebrity Apprentice finale episode where the winner was announced was the highest-rated TV program, which aired to 975,000 viewers nationally and had an uplift of 20%.

Back to Tuesday’s TV viewing,  Nine’s Australian Ninja Warrior saw 458,000 metro viewers tune in, followed by Hot Seat on Nine with 444,000 metro viewers, followed by The Cheap Eats on Ten which had 414,000 metro viewers.

The 2022 Wimbledon D2 – night session aired to a metro audience of 327,000 viewers.

Overall, Seven News topped programming with 953,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 930,000 metro viewers. Nine News was next with 870,000 metro viewers, then Nine News 6:30 with 840,000 metro viewers. Nine’s A Current Affair had 641,000 metro viewers, ABC News brought in 587,000 metro viewers, and ABC’s 7:30 followed with 513,000 metro viewers.

As previously mentioned, Nine won the overall share for the evening with 29.9%, followed by Seven with 24.2%. Next was Ten, with 20.4% of the total share, and the ABC finished with a share of 15.2%.
