The Student Housing Company positions itself as a ‘student utopia’ in outdoor ads

Student accomodation company, The Student Housing Company, has launched an outdoor advertising campaign to position the company as a “student utopia”.

The campaign, which has been created by digital agency Haimat, features a series of executions which aims to establish the brand amongst international students and their parents.

An out-of-home execution for The Student Housing Company

The Student Housing Company launched the campaign to combat some business problems it is facing, including low awareness of student housing offerings in Perth, and low brand awareness thanks to its competitor being positioned right across the road and using similar branding colours.

In the series of outdoor ads, The Student Housing Company promotes its facilities including its pools and gyms.

The ads say: “With a terrace pool, student utopia is here” and “with a fully equipped gym, student utopia is here”.

Haimat founder, Benjamin Kassel, said in a statement: “The brief for this campaign was to educate the target audience of purpose-built student accommodation being available as none currently exists in the Perth market. We also needed to make the audience aware of the competitive pricing of student accommodation, as well as its unique lifestyle benefits it delivers.

“We landed on the idea of ‘utopia’ as an ideal, a place or community that possesses near perfect conditions for its citizens. And with TSHC’s new development in Perth, this is what we’re offering.”
