RSPCA Pet Insurance shows Australians ‘That RSPCA Feeling’

RSPCA Australia has shown Australians what ‘That RSPCA Feeling’ is, with the aim of encouraging pet owners to invest in RSPCA’s pet insurance.

Launching today, the campaign created by Eardrum features dogs with their hair blowing in the wind after a trip to the vet. The ad aims to recognise pets as important members of Australian families.

The ad uses a Barry White inspired voice and endeavours to celebrate the loving feeling obtained when helping your pet.

Simon Hovell, chief marketing officer at Greenstone, said in a statement: “Australia has one of the highest rates of pet ownership in the world so it makes sense we insure them like we do with any family member.

“Whilst food and medical expenses are the biggest economic burdens for pet owners, it seems Australians are willing to ensure their pets live healthy and happy lives and we make that affordable.”

Ralph van Dijk, executive creative director at Eardrum, added: “Knowing you can do your bit to support animal welfare while looking after your own pet is what sets RSPCA Pet Insurance apart as the ultimate feel good option. So we wanted to share this elated, peace-of-mind feeling pet owners (and their pets) experience — even after a trip to the vet. It’s a very direct, rational message, communicated in an unmissable visual. And who doesn’t love seeing dogs in slow-mo!”
