The Urban List names Michelle Blancato head of content
Former general manager of beautyheaven.com.au, Michelle Blancato, has joined The Urban List as head of content.
Blancato spent the last five months freelancing in Brisbane but prior to that was the general manager of beautyheaven.com.au and beautydirectory.com.au.
Blancato has been freelancing for most of this year
She has also worked in editor, sub editor and deputy editor roles across BBC Worldwide, IPC Media and Future Publishing.
Susannah George, founder and CEO of The Urban List said the company was excited to have Michelle joining the team and build on the company’s position.
“Michelle brings strong experience growing audiences through engaging content across lifestyle and recommendation-based platforms. Moving forward we’ll be looking at broadening our categories and creating content that engages our audience beyond their local city.”
