The Voice continues dream start on Seven with 1.158m metro viewers

The Voice Australia has continued to deliver some of the biggest metro television ratings of the year across any entertainment programming, with 1.158 million viewers on Monday night.

The new season, Seven’s first since taking the format from Nine, has cracked the million metro viewer mark in every episode since launch, the only format to do so in 2021.

The program was #1 in entertainment and won the 18-49 and 25-54 advertising demos, while Australian Survivor won 16-39 again.

In primetime, Australian Survivor aired to 712,000 metro viewers for Ten and was second in non-news, while The Block had 619,000 metro viewers.

Among other entertainment programming, Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? had an average of 712,000 metro viewers, and was #3 in entertainment.

Home And Away aired with 676,000 metro viewers, and 607,000 metro viewers watched The Chase Australia.

Seven News was once again #1 overall across metro markets, with an average of 1.238 million viewers, ahead of Nine News with 1.182 million.

Seven took a 31.1% network share win on Monday, ahead of Nine with 23.2%, Ten on 21%, and ABC on 18%. Seven also won the primary channel race, while 10 Bold was the top rating multi-channel.
