The Voice holds top spot, with Seven winning overall share

Seven’s The Voice Australia has topped entertainment for Tuesday night, pulling in 753,000 metro viewers to secure the network the winning overall share for the evening.

The episode was followed in entertainment by Seven’s The Chase Australia, which brought in a further 551,000 metro viewers, however, it was Nine’s Lego Masters that took out all three key advertising demos.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 26 April, Seven News topped the list with 1.613 million Total TV viewers, including 38,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 3%. The program with the highest uplift was Seven’s The Rookie with an uplift of 64%, and viewed by 452,000 national viewers.

Next in entertainment on Tuesday was Home and Away on Seven, which brought in 510,000 metro viewers, followed by Ten’s Masterchef with 451,000 metro viewers.

Hot Seat had 407,000 metro viewers, followed by The Cheap Seats on Ten with 340,000 metro viewers, then Seven’s The Good Doctor with 314,000 metro viewers.

Overall, Seven News topped programming with 986,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 953,000 metro viewers. Nine News at 6:30 was next with 855,000 metro viewers, then Nine News with 838,000 metro viewers. Nine’s A Current Affair brought in 653,000 metro viewers, with ABC News following with 639,000 metro viewers, then ABC’s 7.30 with 423,000 metro viewers.

As mentioned, the Seven Network took out total share for the evening with 32.8%, followed by the Nine Network on 26.1%.  Network 10 was next with 18.7% of total share, followed by ABC with 14.3%.
