The Voice leads entertainment as Seven Network wins the night

The Voice defeated its primetime competitor, The Block, on Tuesday night. However, the latter attracted key demos.

Seven’s The Voice topped entertainment with 624,000 metro viewers, while the Nine’s The Block followed with 568,000 metro viewers.

Both shows premiered on the same night last Sunday, but The Voice has had the upper hand so far, especially on Monday night due to the halo effect from the Matildas.

The Women’s World Cup game between France and Morocco brought in 333,000 metro viewers. The winner France will meet Australia’s Matildas in the quarter-final this Saturday.

Seven network won the night.
