The Works makes three new hires
Advertising agency The Works has appointed three new members of staff following several client wins.
The announcement:
SYDNEY, 30 SEPTEMBER 2010: The Works Sydney has made three key hires after a spate of wins including Daikin, Carsguide and Choice.
Sophie Church and Melissa Aisbett join as Brand Producers. Church has worked both agency and client side with stints at M&C Saatchi, Wunderman and Optus. Aisbett has worked for online and multimedia company Brass Tacks, and marketing partnership agency Kessler Group.
Damian Pincus, partner at The Works, said the new brand producers are committed to the agency’s no-bullshit promise to clients when it comes to delivering campaigns.
“The careers of both our new brand producers have given them a great grounding in the importance of delivering on-time and on-budget campaigns of the highest calibre. That’s the way we do things at The Works.”
Also joining is junior copywriter Steve Engstrom, who will work under the guidance of senior copywriter Troy Graham.
An AWARD School and Copyschool graduate, Engstrom attracted the attention of The Works with a quirky video posted on industry media sites. “We are looking to hire more creatives in the near future, and interested candidates could do well by taking a leaf out of Steve’s book of recruitment techniques,” Pincus said.
