Thinkerbell completes Sydney leadership team with new GM
Thinkerbell has named Phillipa Netolicky as its new general manager for its Sydney office, in a new leadership structure following Katie Dally’s departure.
Dally exited the agency in December to take on a client-side role at Endeavour Drinks Group as GM of marketing – creative.
Netolicky will lead the Thinkerbell North office alongside recently appointed managing partner Jerker Fagerström and executive creative tinker Paul Swann.
Joining from a nine-month stint as client partner at Howatson + Company, Netolicky has held several other roles in recent years, having also worked as chief growth officer at digital agency Claxon, and head of marketing – emerging brands at CasaCity.
Her previous experience also includes 10 years at McCann Australia, working her way from art director to managing director, before leaving the agency in 2020.
CEO, Margie Reid said of the appointment: “Rounding out the management of Thinkerbell North, we’ve found the perfect person in Philippa. She’s a brilliantly well rounded communications professional having worked as both a senior creative as well as on the business management side. She brings a non-siloed, progressive mindset to our agency and will fit like a glove.”
Netolicky added: “Thinkerbell’s all-in model appeals to me. I was looking for an independent agency willing to find a better way of doing things. Thinkerbell is it.”
Last month, Thinkerbell announced the leadership lineup for its new Kiwi office, launching the agency in Auckland with founding partners, Amy Frengley, Luke Farmer and Regan Grafton.
